System Diagram

The diagram depicts how the FloWork CVF system is arranged in a typical powertrain cooling system application. The two primary operation modes, Warm-up, and Operation are depicted here.

The diagram also depicts a typical bypass circuit arrangement, which returns coolant leaving the engine directly into the pump inlet during warm-up.

After warm-up, once the engine reaches normal operating temperature the bypass flow becomes shut off so that all coolant flow is redirected through the radiator circuit during warmed-up operation.

The amount of the operation mode flow  is continuously modulated in response to thermal demand by the variable inlet guide vanes.
